Integration & Third-Party Data Exchange

Keying important data into a system should be a one-time process. Let us help you improve the efficiency of your current approach by providing a third-party data exchange solution between your current software vendors and New Innovations.

Data Exchange and API

Currently, we offer two processes that perform data exchange; one that runs through an API, and the other to which we refer to as the Data Exchange (DE). Our current data exchange process is a service that either imports or extracts data into or out of NI once a day. The data exchange is very comprehensive in that all New Innovations clientele may utilize it in the same fashion.

Field Mapping

We can assist you in determining the field mapping capabilities of personnel demographics, procedure logging, scheduling, course schedules, block schedules, conference attendance, evaluation session matches, or any other data you would like imported into or extracted from New Innovations.

No Redundant Data Entry

Once your data is configured and a file layout is defined, we have a service that runs nightly, which will continue to provide that data to you, and also check for new items that need to be imported into New Innovations. Keying information twice can quickly become a thing of the past.

Previous Integrations

Some of the more common systems we have worked with include:

  • ADP
  • AMION
  • API Feeds
  • Banner
  • Payroll Systems
  • HR Systems
  • Morrissey
  • OASIS
  • Oracle
  • Peoplesoft
  • Appointment Databases
  • Timekeeping Systems
  • Any Internal or 'home-grown' system

Security

One of the most critical aspects of what we do as a medical education software company is ensure that every piece of client data is secure. In order to comply with these demands, we are SAML and SSO compatible. We provide military-grade encryption on multiple systems that have been built for redundancy from the ground-up. New Innovations also encrypts data in as many places as possible, whenever data is transmitted.

Network Security

Our servers are housed in multiple geographically separate locations so as to ensure the safety of our network. These state-of-the-art data centers offer cutting-edge electronic surveillance, multi-factor access control systems, and are staffed 24/7 with security guards. In-house we constantly monitor our systems and scale both horizontally and vertically to adapt to system demands. Hourly backups of data are stored in an encrypted area off-site and our production network systems are only accessible with multi-factor authentication.

Client Data

We also keep detailed auditing and monitoring software on all servers to ensure client data security and integrate with many common third-party authentication systems. No client data is ever commingled, and as an added bonus, for a cost, we can offer a dedicated database server for our clients.
