Let’s Give Some Love to Assessment of Procedure Performance

Assessing Procedure Performance One of our current research efforts was born from clients routinely mentioning the need for more features when assessing the performance of procedures.

Understanding Evaluation Content We have been closely reviewing procedure related evaluation forms to understand what common elements are used.

It is our hope to be able to make it easier for Programs to review summarized responses in assessing a resident’s level of autonomy for performing a procedure.

Starting with Standard Data Collection As a general rule in software development, our ability to provide more value to users relies on being able to find shared meaning in the content data. In order to provide summary information, it’s important to have a standard way to present that information. The more consistency we have between your residency system and your processes, the better we can deliver valuable information.

Our goal is to provide you with a ‘ready-to-go’ procedure evaluation form that is easy to configure and distribute. The tricky balance will be delivering ease of use while also recognizing that any solution will need enough flexibility to include additional criteria you may have.

Discussion Forum We are currently looking for Program Directors and Associate Program Directors to join our discussion forum!

We are in the early stages of development; plenty of time for us to gather perspectives and identify shared needs. Please feel free to share your thoughts with us by joining our ongoing Procedure Evaluation Project discussion here.

We look forward to collaborating with you so we can provide better services and products that help support medical education!
